Cat’s Boudoir Photography Shocks Internet
Everyone knew Tokki the cat had a bit of a wild side, but it wasn’t until a series of nude bedroom photos leaked onto the Internet did anyone realize how audacious she really is.
“It’s bold, I’ll give her that,” said close friend Tilly Anderson.  ”Tokki can probably kiss any chance of running for public office in the future goodbye, though!”
Not everyone is so shocked by the photos.  Leslie Warren, a cat photographer from Queens, NY thinks the photos are quite fetching.  ”They’re beautifully done and Tokki is stunning,” she said.  ”I don’t know what all the fuss is about.  The feline form should be celebrated.”

Fashion experts from Milan to New York agree: hats are once again en vogue for kitties.  The hippest and most fashionable felines this season are completing their looks with stylish chapeaus, and if you want your cat to be cool, you’ll make sure he or she has a hat, too.

The fashion-forward kitties above are modeling headwear from ToScarboroughFair, a purveyor of fine, handmade kitten hats.

Don’t let your cat leave the house with an incomplete ensemble!

Faces of Lorises
1. Nycticebus tardigradus malayanus (Nycticebus coucang spp.- Sunda slow loris. Note: possibly Nycticebus javanicus - the Javan slow loris)2. Nycticebus tardigradus hilleri (Nycticebus coucang coucang - the Sunda slow loris, type species)3. Loris gracilis typicus (Loris lydekkerianus lydekkerianus - Gray slender loris)4. Loris gracilis zeylanicus (Loris tardigradus - Red slender loris)
All lorises are endangered or vulnerable due to the pet trade and their use in traditional “medicine”. While these small and nocturnal critters tend to be much more adaptable when humans encroach upon their habitat than other species of primate (making due in the trees humans transplant as opposed to their native foliage, and dealing with the human presence in stride, for example), they’re still all too often thought to “cure” various ailments with their body parts (especially the slow lorises), and traded as pets throughout their native habitat of Southeast Asia, and when they’re successfully smuggled to the rest of the world.
Seriously, people. Their cuteness is so much cuter in the wild. Lorises are freaking adorable, and the hunting strategies of the various species and subspecies are so varied and fascinating that they deserve to stay in a protected natural habitat. I mean, among other reasons to preserve them, obviously…they’re just such cool little omnivores!

Guinea Pig Lost in Thought for 5 Hours
Rescuers have been dispatched to locate a guinea pig named Jones who has reportedly been lost in thought for over five straight hours.
“Somebody mentioned String Theory and Jones just disappeared into his own mind,” says Allan Flohr, who was with the guinea pig at the time. “He’s probably thinking about physics, equations, that sort of thing. He’ll probably come to when he gets hungry.”

Cat Suspects She May Have Grabbed the Wrong Glasses
Numerous reports into The Fluffington Post indicate that an area cat accidentally took home the wrong pair of glasses from the vet.  According to witnesses, the cat began to suspect she may not have her spectacles when she had trouble seeing her textbook.
Others suspect, however, that the glasses are fine and the cat is just putting on a charade to avoid completing her AP History homework due tomorrow.

Ducklings Set to Explore the Backyard
Brave ducklings Vasco and Ferdinand are set to embark on a 3-month journey to the farthest reaches of the backyard.  Their voyage, which is backed by a writ of passage from the Queen of Spain, will leave from the patio, make its way along the side fence to the bird bath and then follow the slate path to the pergola.
Their goal is to find a quicker land route to the vegetable garden.
